Purpose of the position

Located in the heart of the new Solar district in Brossard, Jazz Brossard has the pleasure of welcoming a golden clientele, independent or losing their autonomy. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere where we feel at home.We are currently looking for an empathetic Beneficiary Attendant who cares about the well-being of residents The resident attendant sees to the comfort, well-being, safety and general needs of residents by providing them with hygiene and comfort care. Permanent part-time position in the form of 4/15, evenings from 3:30 to 11:30 as well as weekends. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like :

Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around

While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.

Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations

Proactively assist and support the residents

Adhere to standards and regulations in accordance with private seniors' home certification and employer policies

In collaboration with the different teams, carry out health and hygienic care to the residents while maintaining their dignity and integrity .

Respond to all emergency situations

Required qualifications :

Up to date CPR / AED training certificates

PDSB training

Skill 7

Good team player

Good sense of interpersonal communication

Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset

PAB diploma recognized by the ministry
