    We are currently seeking a Building Services Account Manager, HVAC Sales to join our team in our Ottawa office.

    Modern Niagara is actively building and expanding our Service business in the Ottawa market. As a result, we are looking for an experienced, driven, and knowledgeable HVAC Sales Manager. The Account Manager will be responsible for the sale of Modern Niagara's service offerings including, new service contracts and projects. To succeed in this role, the candidate will be a self-starter, with strong HVAC technical experience and exhibit strategic sales abilities.

    OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prospect and identify new customers to sell Modern Niagara's service offerings. Confidently and persuasively connecting our offerings to their business needs
    • Generate a sustainable and active sales pipeline using our CRM to accurately report on projected new business
    • Collaborate on Facility Performance Management pursuits for New Construction opportunities, developing performance and financial models to illustrate quantified value for prospects
    • Actively participate in industry events, network with key decision makers, influence industry contacts and collaborate internally to create business opportunities
    • Effectively perform needs analysis assessments, qualify opportunities, develop sales presentations, proposals and estimates for clearly defined pursuits
    • Establish regular and consistent educational sessions with customers in core vertical markets
    • Work directly with building owners to identify and establish KPI's that can be directly measured and reported on by installed technology offerings (SaaS)
    • Be a trusted advisor to your client base by assessing capital needs, building technology roadmaps and building relationships throughout organizations QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
      • 5+ years of Business Development or Account Management
      • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry, ideally MEP focused
      • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and position other Modern Niagara offerings by positioning SME's during pursuits
      • Accomplished Sales Professional that understands strategic selling
      • Financial acumen in positioning ROI
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders
      • Understand customers buying behaviours and be able to strategically connect with decision makers
      • Be a natural collaborator, innovator and problem solver, that can work with multiple stakeholders including Modern Niagara BU leads, sales and marketing
