Summary
Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time Cashier to join our team. The shifts are Tuesday - Saturday. The wage range for this position is $ per hour.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers with purchases
Provide suggestions and recommendations on products and materials
Process all point of sale and payment on account transactions at the cashier counter in an efficient, accurate and friendly manner
Answering phones
Responsible for replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor
Assist in the stocking of incoming truck freight to the stock room
Maintain product displays on selling floor
Assist in keeping product signage/pricing accurate
Disinfect and clean counter tops, phones and keyboards
Disinfecting and putting away returns
General housekeeping duties
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Previous cashier experience is an asset
Superior customer service skills
Effective written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and as team
Available to work flexible hours including weekends
Physical requirements include:
Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
Standing for long periods of time

The Location - Comox, 554 Anderton Rd.
