PILE DRIVING SUPERVISOR

Irving Equipment Limited, a reputable Heavy Lift and Specialized Transport company, is looking for a Pile Driving Supervisor/Estimator to join their dynamic team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

As part of the team, you will be involved in a variety of industrial, commercial, infrastructure, and residential projects, offering you a fast-paced work environment with diverse opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings and specifications for estimating purposes
  • Prepare quotes, pricing, and estimates in collaboration with peers
  • Seek out new business opportunities with existing and potential clients
  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively
  • Coordinate site visits, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Supervise and ensure the safety of on-site employees
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
  • Follow up with customers to ensure job satisfaction
  • Enforce company policies for safety and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • College Diploma in Engineering Technology or University Degree in Engineering
  • Experience in Piling and Deep Foundations
  • Background in estimating within the construction industry
  • Strong attention to detail and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and excellent communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to travel within Atlantic Canada and work occasional weekends
