- Create and implement safety, emergency operations and contingency plans company-wide and for individual club locations
- Develop, maintain, and ensure the systems, tools, and processes specific to departments are in place to optimize output and support users
- Support energymanagement programs to maximize energy efficiency and costsaving targets
- Collaborate with Director and Club Facilities teams to develop a capital budget for building, equipment, and maintenance of clubs. Include detailed capital scope plan highlighting planned cost of projects, schedule, proposed vendors, and contingency cost needs to ensure budgetary expectations are achieved
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, contractors, vendors and community members
We know the experience we're looking for can come from different industries; this is what you'll need:
- 8+ years of Facilities Services management experience in a related industry or facility (i.e., in a consumer-facing, service-oriented environment, retail, hospitality, leisure, fitness, etc.)
- 5+ years of leadership and people management preferred ideally of a crossfunctional team, including proven success in leading, coaching, and motivating teams to achieve goals and objectives.
- A university degree or college diploma in a related field strongly preferred.
- Must hold a valid driver's license, auto insurance and demonstrate a safe driving record to travel within Ontario
- Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices and Occupational Health & Safety requirements and legislation.
- Demonstrated software and administration skills (including solid knowledge base of Cornerstone, Office 365, Teams, Excel, and Outlook, and completion of viability studies, budgeting, contract management, and scheduling management) are required.
- Collaborative relationship builder who can negotiate with internal clients and external vendors to achieve excellent results under tight budget restrictions.
- Strategic thinker who can conceptualize a plan, then take a tactical, practical approach to implement and accomplish it.
