You as a Manager, Technical Services will:
- Provide technical input and engineering advice for maintenance teams and help ensure design and construction teams build to the requirements of facility management operations.
- Help ensure site teams comply with all current engineering standards, codes, operational specifications, and service level agreements.
- Oversee FM's technical team and interface with clients to assure them that technical FM issues are properly addressed.
- Provide technical support for operational facilities and proposal submissions;
- Interface with design team during design development and provide operational input;
- Ensure drawings and submittals are reviewed as required for facilities under construction;
- Ensure EDFS is represented during commissioning and recommissioning activities;
- Initiate and support energy management and reduction initiatives;
- Stay current on building systems technology.
- Maintain technical FM lessons learned documentation
- Provide input to facility condition assessments.
Is this the right role for you?
- 10+ years experience with large complex buildings;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Working knowledge of building systems and operations;
- Working knowledge of relevant facility management and construction software;
- Licensed Professional Engineer, Degree in Engineering, Technology Diploma or Technical certification and equivalent work experience
