OVERVIEW:

Sundays is a direct-to-consumer, online-first furniture company based out of Vancouver, BC. We're a young company with big plans so we're looking for talented and driven individuals to join us.


Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Contract Copywriter will be responsible for maintaining and integrating our brand voice through all marketing touchpoints.

The role develops all copy across many different mediums, including e-commerce, digital and print. You are creative and curious, a talented writer, editor and storyteller. You have a sharp attention to detail and an eye for consistency. You are organized, resourceful and entrepreneurial. Most importantly, you are excited about collaborating and building a brand. This is a part-time role, approximately 5-10 hours per week with flexibility to increase as projects require.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Write, edit and proofread internal and external materials including product descriptions, digital assets, instore signage and collateral and internal communications
  • Work closely with our marketing and product teams to identify, communicate and romance the most important aspects of our products
  • Contribute to copy and content strategy for marketing campaigns
  • Deliver onbrand, effective messaging that brings our products to life and connects with our audience
  • Enforce consistency in copy standards and continue to grow our brand messaging and voice

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:


  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in English, Communications, or similar field
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Work experience in a similar role with demonstrable examples of success
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and the Google suite.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and handle independent tasks.
  • Willingness to learn from others as an openminded, flexible team player.

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 5-10 per week


Salary:
From $30.00 per hour
