Student Science Advisory Council Member Opportunity

Science North wants to know what ignites and intrigues students in Sudbury Afterall, you know best what experiences excite you in science and technology.

The Science North Student Advisory Council is an opportunity for secondary school students ages 14-18 to work collaboratively with Science North teams to improve science experiences for youth and inform development and delivery of programs and exhibits.


As a part of this council you will:

  • Advise Science North how to engage young people outside of school in science.
  • Give input on science centre experience selection, design, and development.
  • Give input on onsite business, grounds, and environment.
  • Help plan and promote student events at the science centre and online.
  • Develop leadership and communication skills.

Members must be available one Tuesday a month for meetings from 4:30-6:30 pm at Science North. Council members will be compensated for their time.
