Kangiqsujuaq, QC. Taxi fare, flight, accommodations and per diem covered by the department.


Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education- Master's or PhD in Educational Psychology, Applied Cognitive Psychology, Learning Sciences, Human Development, or equivalent- OFNIE

Additional Requirements:
_- A Master's degree (in exceptional circumstances applicants without a Master's degree but with significant research or professional experience related to the course content may be considered)

Experience- Knowledge of educational and psychological theories- Knowledge of Ministère de l'Éducation et de l'Enseignement supérieur (MELS) requirements- OFNIE

Additional Requirements:
_- Expert knowledge of course content as outlined in the course description Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP) and the curriculum of the partnering school board with whom this course is being giving in collaboration. Familiarity with the 13 professional competencies specified in the Ministère de l'Éducation Experience as a teacher, administrator, or consultant in the partnering school board for which this course is being delivered. Experience teaching in the Quebec elementary school system Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) to pre-service teachers Previous successful experience teaching similar courses in Indigenous communities.
Autre/Other If the applicant has not taught this course previously, but has taught in the hiring unit previously, she/he must have had satisfactory teaching evaluations that meet the Department's expectations- Adherence to evolving program requirements concerning course content and program-developed competencies; course content and references must reflect the most current advances in the field- OFNIE

Course Lecturers may be required to prepare and deliver teaching material suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform (e.g., Zoom, WebEx) and the McGill myCourses learning management system. Training and assistance on remote teaching is available through Teaching and Learning Services (TLS). Course Lecturers are encouraged to record their lectures._
