Summary:

The

_Quality Manager _is responsible for the development, implementation, and strict adherence to a quality program. He or she develops and/or reviews standards, policies, and procedures for all functions and departments involved with or related to the production of all products. The position reports directly to the President, is a member of the executive leadership team, and works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Customer Service. The

_Quality Manager_ is a builder who thrives on establishing processes to guide the quality activities of the Company, while promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement from the ground up.


Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Bring together the quality activities of all manufacturing segments for overall planning and priorities in line with the objectives of the Company
  • Review and resolve quality control problems/concerns with the quality team and others including vendors, customers, quality control personnel, and any personnel related to production
  • Lead team to improve quality control and quality assurance procedures including documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
  • Coordinate and lead audits with various OEM customers
  • Develop and fortify existing quality inspection requirements based on specific part standards, as defined by internal engineering and customer criteria
  • Ensure collaboration between quality team and other departments throughout the organization
  • Enhance and manage internal/external corrective and preventive action processes
  • Working with internal teams to enact vendor quality improvement initiatives
  • Coordinates and assists with vendor inspections and product inspections, as necessary
  • Coordinate between quality teams in Canada and Overseas

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Quality leadership role in a Manufacturing setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
  • Indepth understanding of quality procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools and qualityrelated software

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • BA or BS in appropriate discipline
  • Experience with QA measuring and testing equipment
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, processes, standards, etc.

  • Starting salary of $90,000 to $110,000, depending on experience
