Mottola grocery is looking for an experienced and passionate baker to join our team We are a sourdough based bread program and offer a number of different cookies, pastries and baked goods.


Job duties/skills required include:

  • Prepare, and bake various baked goods and breads including cookies
  • Experience working with sourdough is an asset.
  • The ability follow recipes and ensure the consistent quality of baked goods/breads
  • Keep the kitchen area clean, organized, and sanitized to maintain high standards of hygiene
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute baking schedules efficiently
  • Monitor inventory and inform the management about ingredient needs

Qualifications:

  • Previous professional/production baking experience required
  • Education in professional baking is an extreme asset

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Morning shift
  • Weekends as needed
