WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?


The Service Delivery within the Telecommunications and Network Services team provides the technical delivery, supply chain management, client engagement and project governance as it relates to Telecommunications and Network Services projects, business requests and operational activities.


The Service Delivery Manager serves as the technical project coordination resource with the proper skillset to facilitate and drive the successful deployment of data networking technologies in support of both small and large projects, and any other network-related business requests In this role you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing successful implementation of the above mentioned.

The role will coordinate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure objectives are accomplished according on time.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Including projects within our Branch, Campus, Server Farm and Extranet environments.
  • Drives Service Design and Operations resources to ensure all data network requests and projects are delivered on time, within budget and in scope.
  • Work with provisioning team receive/review circuit quotes and make circuit ordering decisions.
  • Work with Network teams on the creation of a hardware bill of materials and submit requests for the purchase of that hardware.
  • Coordinate with network engineering resources to Develop and execute on end to end change management plans and plan and execute all communication related to these.
  • Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
  • Produces weekly status reports and project plans as required.
  • Conducts weekly meetings in support of assigned initiatives.

Work closely with PMO on large projects to coordinate TNS deliverables as they relate to project plans
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?


Must have:


  • Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • A strong understanding of technology and/or financial services industry.
  • Deadlinedriven and resultsoriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Nice-to-have:


  • Experience in a technical project management role within the Financial Services industry.
  • Ability to facilitate between and influence key decision makers
  • Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
