Crusher Operator - West Kelowna, Canada - Kelowna Ready-Mix Inc.

Description

The successful applicant will:
- be familiar with the Ministry of Mines, Health & Safety, and Reclamation Codes
- hold current Mines Supervisor Certificate
- hold current Level C First Aid
- have an understanding of crushing and screening layouts and processes
- understand basic pit planning and layouts
- be familiar with the various gravel tests required for production (sieve tests, hardness, A.A.R., acid rock eval., etc.)

The successful applicant will have experience with:

• maintaining/repairing Jaw and Cone Crushers

- maintaining/repairing Screen Decks and Conveyor Systems
- adjusting screen decks and crushers for optimum operation and control of the production of gravel pit products
- operating pit mobile equipment (loaders, water trucks, etc.)
- maintaining/repairing pit mobile equipment
- the general maintenance of a screening/crushing plant

Priority will be given to the applicant with previous experience in:

• Pit supervision/Forman
• Welding and steel fabrication
• Class 3 or 1 with Air Brake endorsement
• Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic or similar work experience

Pay:
$29.74-$34.99 per hour
