Job Summary:

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to small groups or oneonone tutoring sessions in English or Mathematics
  • Help students improve their understanding of concepts and develop effective study strategies.
  • Customize lesson plans as needed.
  • Assist students with homework assignments and SSAT test preparation.
  • Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.

Requirements and Skill-set:


  • Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex concepts to students.
  • Previous experience working with children, either in a tutoring or classroom setting.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Patience and empathy to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Client facing or customer service experience is an asset.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent


Pay:
$33.00-$35.00 per hour
