About the Opportunity:

The Resource Facilitator is responsible for assisting departments and nursing areas in accessing resources needed to deliver patient care.

The Resource Facilitator reports to the Bed Utilization Manager and functions after hours under the direction of the Clinical Care Coordinator or Administration On-Call in keeping them apprised of any needs, concerns or questions related to clinical situations.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Medical Office Administration progam plus one year experience or two years related experience required
  • Certified Medical Terminology certificate an asset
  • 3 to 5 years of related hospital exposure in an applicable setting preferred
  • Experience and knowledge with Meditech is required
  • Knowledge of scheduling systems is an asset
  • Familiarity with Union contracts is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Nonviolent crisis intervention training or willingness to obtain
  • BCLS or willingness to obtain
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Compensation and Incentives:
