Park Paving Ltd. started in the early 1970s as a family-owned asphalt patching business. called Sherwood Park Paving.


The 1970s in Alberta offered opportunity for expansion and in July of 1975 they incorporated the company as
Sherwood Park Paving Ltd. This opportunity coupled with hard work and dedication offered Sherwood Park Paving potential for growth.

The company progressed from asphalt patching to asphalt paving projects.


In 2008 the Park Paving group of companies grew into new marketplaces with the creation of
RROX Aggregates Ltd., producers, and suppliers of high-quality aggregate materials.

Park's foray into material supply didn't stop at new aggregates. In 2016, Park Paving ventured into the world of ready-mix concrete with the opening of
Park Ready Mix (PRM).

In 2023 Park added a Landscaping Division to their portfolio.

Are you a licensed Heavy-Duty mechanic with experience in a supervisory role? Do you have experience working on fleet vehicles, as well as with heavy equipment (For example, skid steers, excavators, hoes, and paving equipment) If so, we have an opportunity for you


Requirements:


What You Will Be Doing:


  • Supervision and mentorship of mechanics/welders in the field
  • Scheduling and overseeing repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Scheduling and overseeing work on various construction equipment in the field
  • Involvement in the planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance and repair of all portable plant sites/gravel sites
  • Involvement in the planning, scheduling and completion of maintenance and repair of all stationary plant sites/gravel sites
  • Assist mechanics with troubleshooting and diagnosing problems
  • Work with other personnel within the maintenance department to ensure all service and repairs are completed in an efficient and timely manner
  • Work with personnel across other departments to ensure organizational needs are met and equipment is available when required

Required Qualifications:


  • Heavy Duty Technician license
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a Maintenance Supervisor role
  • Previous plant/conveyor experience
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment fit to work medical assessment
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence & Clean 5year commercial abstract.
