About the role:

Reporting to the Head of International ALM, this role is responsible for leading ALM initiatives, and working closely with the Product Teams to support them on Product Design and Pricing as well as ALM investment strategy reviews and key initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Support Product development & In-force management with ALM expertise
• Manage different stakeholders such as product development and pricing teams, actuarial and management.
• Lead and drive the development of enhanced investment and ALM strategies for new product
• Lead value driven initiatives to drive/ enhance Financial results
• Lead the execution/ application of the "Best Practice" ALM practice in HuBS to fully leverage the Global ALM Practice

What you'll need to succeed

• Ability to apply complex concepts to solve business problems
• Ability to manage and drive a Team towards stretch objectives
• Build and drive controlled ALM processes
• Proficient in ALM product development
• Expertise in ALM modelling
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge in AXIS an asset
• Strong Investments knowledge
• Understand financial reporting, including IFRS17, CGAAP and HK statutory reporting
• Knowledge and experience in asset / liability modelling and principles

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
