Description
Our client, a leading electric supplier, is looking to add Data Entry Clerk to their team. The Data Entry Clerk must have a strong familiarity with computers and software.


Responsibilities:


  • Data entry into database
  • Checking records for duplication
  • Clerical tasks as assigned
  • Perform basic management of electronic files (e.g. print, copy, and transfer)
  • Access information from a computer and/or maintain a computer database
  • Enter data envelopes, labels, form letters and correspondence
  • Perform general office duties such as photocopying, faxing, and binding
  • Keep a clean, safe and organized work area.
  • Adhere to policies, procedures and safety regulations.
  • Report discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
  • Follow current standards and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:


  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year data entry experience
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Experience related to general administrative duties.
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to adhere to confidentiality when working with sensitive

Salary:
$17.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Woodbridge, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Data entry: 1 year (required)
Microsoft Excel: 1 year (required)
