- 5+ years' experience as a Software or Cloud Engineer
- Experience in designing and implementing backend automations using Infrastructure as Code, Shell Scripting or other scripting/programming languages.

Cloud Security Engineer - Toronto - LanceSoft Inc

Location
Hybrid – 44 King St., 9th Floor, Toronto (can choose but 44 King is preferred). Hybrid – 2 days (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Contract Duration: ASAP – 6 months. Possibility of extension & conversion to FTE: Both. Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week.
Story Behind the Need
Business group: Cloud Security – deploying cloud native vulnerability detection tools used by the Bank for detection of configuration and runtime vulnerabilities in cloud workloads.
Project: Resource will be playing a key role in deploying components of the strategic solution for Cloud Security by implementing Cloud Workload Protection and Cloud Native Application Protection platform tools across the bank.

Someone who can work independently with stakeholders to implement solution from design, constantly able to update design – Crucial: taking initiative, strong problem solver and is a strategic thinker and can identify solution; experience with using cloud native protection tools. The best candidates will have used the tools themselves and understand how they work, strong independent developer, with programming and automation expertise.
Candidate Review & Selection
2-3 Rounds – MS Teams Video Interviews – all panels. 1st – 30 minutes- Initial interview with hiring manager, and possibly team lead to assess skills against candidate's CV. 2nd – 45 minutes - panel of project team members (HM, technical resources) – probing on technical expertise and project experience. Potential - 3rd if needed to decide between candidates. Hiring manager OOO March 27-April 3rd.
