    Position: Senior Technology Architect (API/Azure)

    Company: VTRAC Consulting Corporation

    Location: Toronto, ON


    Experience and General (25%)

    • Develop baseline architectures, API, and integration models
    • Lead project implementation activities with architecture design
    • Extensive hands-on experience with various database systems
    • Build API schemas, map specifications to database fields
    • Work closely with clients to define integration requirements
    • Establish strong relationships with clients to gain support for system design
    • Engage stakeholders in system design and implementation
    • Provide technical advice to stakeholders and clients
    • Offer guidance and training on design and architecture

    Technical Skills (30%)

    • Design data products for vendors via APIs
    • Expertise in Azure technologies such as Synapse, ADF, Databricks
    • Data modeling and related architecture
    • API and schema design
    • ETL design for data extraction
    • Delivery of project and baseline architecture
    • Expertise in business and data analysis
    • Report preparation, communication of designs effectively
    • Work onsite 3 days a week as required

    Must Haves:

    • Develop baseline architectures, API and integration models
    • Expertise in Azure technologies (Synapse, ADF, Databricks)

    Nice to Have:

    • Previous experience in the Public Sector
