Social Media Specialist


As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing Tacada's social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth.

Your primary focus will be on creating compelling and shareable content, managing social media platforms, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with industry trends to maximize the impact of our online presence.

You will collaborate with various teams, including marketing and sales to ensure consistent messaging and a cohesive brand image across all social media channels.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to drive brand awareness, increase followership, and foster community engagement.
  • Create and curate engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
  • Plan and schedule social media content calendars in advance, ensuring consistent and timely delivery of content.
  • Monitor social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to leverage new opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Engage and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring social media integration and maximum reach.
  • Analyze and report on social media metrics and insights, providing actionable recommendations to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest industry developments, tools, and techniques to enhance social media strategies and deliver measurable results.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor and manage online reputation by promptly addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Identify and engage with key influencers, brand advocates, and partners to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Stay informed about relevant industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices for social media marketing and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience as a social media specialist or similar role.
  • Indepth understanding of social media platforms, their features, and best practices for content creation, publishing, and engagement.
  • Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt content to different platforms and target audiences.
  • Strong creative thinking and content creation skills, including copywriting, graphic design, and basic video editing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to drive strategy and performance improvements.
  • Knowledge of social media advertising, including campaign setup, targeting, and optimization.
  • Experience in managing online communities, engaging with customers, and handling customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • A proactive and selfmotivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
