Slim Looking is a fast-growing shape-wear and compression company that relies heavily on market research and consumer understanding. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating advertising campaigns, analyzing market trends, and creating product development proposals.

The Marketing Specialist also assists with client relations supporting sales presentations, campaign updates, project management, and communication between the project team and clients.

This position has the ability to translate data and research into actionable marketing plans that add value to the brand and promote its development and growth.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Become a brand and culture ambassador.
  • Consult with buying personnel, clients and prospects to gain advice regarding the types of products or services expected to be in demand.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
  • Develop pricing strategies, balancing brand objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the training and performance evaluations of marketing and sales staff on their daily activities.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects such as forecasts, budgets, expenditures, research and returnoninvestment and profitloss projections.
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion partners.
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Initiate market research studies, analyze, and report their findings.
  • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Create, design, and execute engaging social media marketing plans that will include daily posts.
  • Track, measure, and report company's impact on social media.
  • Research advertising trends and competitors' pricing and products.
  • Decide on appropriate placement of ads.
  • Publish digital marketing content online.
  • Monitor social media and Google Analytics.
  • Optimize paid advertising campaigns using SEO and other tools.
  • Report on the growth and analytics of campaigns to stakeholders.
  • Scale campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor project status and budget.
  • Respond to clients and prospects inquiries submitted through the different online channels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 25 years of experience in marketing.
  • Enthusiasm and passion to become a brand ambassador.
  • Working knowledge of market research, surveys, and data analytics.
  • Experience with product launches and/or integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge and experience in digital marketing and social media management: Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, TikTok, Twitter and Pinterest.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
  • Experience planning and leading initiatives.
  • Ability to connect to multicultural audiences.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google suites.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
  • Designing skills are considered an asset.
