Description
The Quality & KPI Manager is responsible for managing and developing quality control and improvement solutions for the housekeeping, patient transport (portering) and linen portering within the facility.
Responsible for monitoring and reporting on all KPI's. Working with the department leads and staff educator to meet KPI's and quality targets.Responsibilities:
Leadership
- Overall ownership and accountability of quality and KPI management of the Support Service Departments
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work with and communicate effectively with department leads, staff and clients
- Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how it is to be achieved
- Direct the Staff Educator to ensure quality standards are met
- Plan and lead quality management meetings
- Ensure safety and privacy standards in all operations
- Support the General Manager to establish and maintain effective communications of KPI's performance and Quality results.
- Ensure Aramark quality programs are delivered effectively across all Support Service Departments
- Develop program (patient transport service, lift teams, clean & soiled linen transport, devices & equipment management, 0xygen tanks, Dispatch/FacilityFitPro, infection control, patient confidentiality, performance management, quality management) to meet client and customer demands and specifications
- Ensure the completion and maintenance of financial statements relative to the department
- Oversight and responsibility to deliver client and company KPI financial targets
- Adopt all Aramark processes and systems, eliminate custom/manual reports
- Understand performance metrics
- Implement and maintain GM agenda for both labour and total quality management KPI requirements
- Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management

Qualifications:
- Requires at least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental, linen or transport services
- Requires up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role, with preference given to quality management experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Understanding of the principles of Key Performance Indicators as they relate to quality assurance
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proven experience of managing a quality control program
- Familiarity with PIDAC Guidelines (Provincial Infectious Disease Advisory Committee) is an asset
- Model key leadership behaviours and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and service excellence for employees, clients and consumers
