Job Summary

What is the opportunity?
RBC Dominion Securities is currently seeking an Associate Wealth Advisor to join a well-established advisory team. You will deepen client relationships by offering sound advice and support to clients and to the advisory team. Developing and implementing the team's wealth management strategy for clients is the main focus of this role.

What will you do?

Support advisory team and clients through the wealth management process by gathering relevant information, documents, and questionnaires
Prepare wealth and financial projections using wealth management and financial advice tools to provide a holistic view of client goals, priorities, and opportunities
Coordinate activities with wealth management and insurance specialists and inbranch consultants: schedule, track progress, and follow up
Liaise with branch management team for updates on and progress with wealth management initiatives
Coordinate meetings and events with clients and prospects: help determine agenda and key topics, prepare documentation, and execute postmeeting work
Provide proactive and highend client service on the phone and in person, respond to client inquiries
Identify opportunities for new business as well as among existing client base for asset consolidation or referrals

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

5 years of professional experience in the investment industry
Registered Representative (RR) license with IIROC (i.e., CSC, CPH, and WME)
Financial planner diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning
Bilingualism (English and French) required to serve our clients in the community with Englishspeaking needs
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps
University degree
Meticulous attention to detail and strong problem solving and analytical skills
