Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with expertise in Data Engineering to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data pipelines, data analysis, and processing using tools like Airflow, Numpy, and Pandas.

Additional Information*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD$100k -CAD$120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows using Airflow.
Perform data analysis and manipulation with Numpy and Pandas.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to optimize data workflows.
Develop efficient, maintainable, and robust Python code.
Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline issues.
Document technical specifications and processes.

Requirements:
Proven experience in Python development, particularly in data-centric applications.
Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration of data workflows.
Strong knowledge of Numpy and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
Familiarity with SQL and databases is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of other data tools and frameworks.
Previous experience in a similar industry or role.
