We are seeking a talented Production Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for production control, inventory control, scheduling, and personnel management.


A PIVOTAL ROLE ON A LARGE TEAM.

  • Promotes and applies occupational health and safety practices and ensures the maintenance of a respectful work climate focused on Cabico's values and management philosophy.
  • Acts as a manager, coach, leader and agent for change, as well as a credible partner for their team members in cooperation with the Operations Management team.
  • Encourages teamwork and stimulates workers to innovate through their new ideas.
  • Ensures compliance with our high quality standards and lead times and supports our commitment to operational excellence.
  • Is responsible for achieving productivity objectives and for compliance with the department's production plan.
  • Manages priorities in cooperation with support teams (customer service, planning, product engineering, quality assurance, continuous improvement, maintenance).
  • Follows up on backorders and makes sure that customers receive exemplary service.
  • Leads the various daily production followup meetings, always with a customeroriented perspective.
  • Manages the department's human resources and daily assignments.
  • Conducts audits of the department.
  • Manages the department's WIP with an overall vision.
  • Participates in the department's continuous improvement projects.
  • Carries out all other tasks intended to add value to our operations.
  • Leads the various daily production followup meetings, always from a customerdriven perspective.
  • Is responsible for the labour and training plan in their sector.

  • Five years of experience in leading/managing a team of employees
  • Prior work experience/specialized skills and woodworking knowledge and supervisoryskills
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices policies and procedures
  • Must have good analytical skills
  • Must adhere to Health and Safety and enforce the standards
  • Must have good moral ethics
  • Able to follow written or verbal instructions
  • Demonstrate good communication skills
  • Be able work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to make decisions
  • Willing and able to work additional hours when required
