Heidelberg Materials is looking for a responsible, safe, and dependable
Service Technician to join our team in Calgary, AB. In this position you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on all heavy mobile equipment.

Responsibilities:

Lubricate and perform preventative maintenance and break down repairs of mixer trucks and other equipment as required to achieve optimum performance.
Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose problems.
Work with Journeyman Mechanics to ensure that all equipment repairs are performed accurately to the manufacturer and Inland standards.
Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with specifications.
Perform other miscellaneous mechanical, maintenance and shop duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For:

Proficiency in servicing transmissions, engines, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is an asset.
Experience with formal maintenance programs.
Requires lifting, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing and pulling, working at elevated heights, at times in tight and awkward positions.
Ability to work alone or with others.
Experience working on MX engines and Allison transmissions is an asset
