MOFFATT'S MAZDA of
Barrie, Ontario is currently looking for an experienced
Apprentice Automotive Technician to join their dynamic team in Barrie.
This position is responsible for carrying out the directions given to perform work under the Provincial Apprenticeship Training Program including a wide range of automotive service and mechanical repair duties.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working under the direction of an experienced, licensed technician
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs for all makes and models
- Perform repairs for all makes and models
- Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
- Perform road tests using safe driving standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- In pursuit of Licensed Automotive Service Technician 310S
- A valid Ontario Class G2 license
- Current driver's abstract
- Work well in a team environment
- Good time management skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong listening & observation skills
- Computer skills
- Nonskid safety shoes
- One year experience in a similar role preferred
- High School Diploma
- A desire for a long term career with a growing organization
