Labbe-Leech Interiors Ltd. is an Commercial Construction Management company specializing in interiors, retail and medical environments.

We have an immediate need for a Project Manager who can support the company's Core Values and manage the daily operation of the estimating and project management functions.

We are looking for someone to join our team who is reliable, experienced, displays good judgement, is safety focused, and is a team player.

Experience in Commercial Construction is needed along with a valid Driver's License, and vehicle available for work purposes


Key Accountabilities

• Enforce the company safety program in accordance with the company's best practice policies, OH&S and local laws.
• Directly responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the activities of our projects, for a portfolio of clients
• Manage the preconstruction and bidding process, providing constructability, schedule and process input
• Develop the initial schedule; evaluate and update as required. Ensure that construction activities progress according to schedule
• Organize and participate in weekly subcontractor meetings with the Project Superintendent
• Communicate with the Architect, Owner and/or Construction Manager on all project issues, progress, budget, changes or modifications.
• Track all potential change orders, owner change orders
• Prepare for, organize, and run Owner's meetings on a regularly scheduled basis
• Team with the Project Superintendent to provide leadership for the duration of the project.
• Manage cost control system to ensure budget compliance.
• Submit, track and obtain inspections, all permits and building occupancy as required for the project
• Monitor the submittal and request for information process to ensure project requirements are met.
• Manage the project close out process required for the project to facilitate timely release of retention
• Work closely with site supervisors and the project team to manage overall execution of each project
• Ensure client satisfaction and job profitability while meeting project schedules
• Provide monthly performance status including cost forecasts, schedule updates and cash flow/profitability reporting
• Develop new and maintain existing business relationships with Owners, Architect/Engineers, Construction Managers and Subcontractors as necessary to ensure future business opportunities

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

5 years of commercial construction experience:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Microsoft Project, Sage 100 Contractor (or other project management software)
• PMP designation would be an asset
• Ability to read and understand blue prints, specifications, schedules and costing reports
• Understanding of construction procedure, including safety practices

$65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
