Industrial Sewing Operator - Edmonton, Canada - Alliance MFG

Description

We are looking for a part time employee to join our small shop.

At Alliance MFG we repair, and manufacture a wide array of items from boat covers to tents to custom bags.

Everyday brings a new challenge and no two days are the same.

Must have working knowledge on a walking foot sewing machine and be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.

We are looking for a self starter who can work with mínimal oversight to help with the current workload.


Qualification and Experience Requirements:

• Able to read, write and speak in English.
• Knowledge of walking foot sewing machines and industrial sewing.
• Ability to work safely.
• Experience working in an industrial sewing environment.

Ability to work independently and efficiently.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Experience:

• Industrial sewing: 1 year (required)
