As a new interior Design firm located in the west end of Kingston Ontario, we are seeking to grow and expand our services in the local area.

We believe on-boarding a talented, energetic person with a keen design eye, and desire to help us make spaces beautiful will be an excellent addition to our team.

Your primary tasks will be with respect to administrative assistance duties, however the ideal client will grow out of this initial position if they should desire, to work closer with the lead designer on their projects.

There are no limitations to the potential this position could evolve into And we hope to attract a driven individual with ambition who wishes to grow along with us.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
  • Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for the management team
  • Maintain an organized filing system for both electronic and paper documents
  • Perform data entry and update various databases and spreadsheets
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication
- periodically visiting sites with lead designer
- assisting on design project builds as required


Experience:


  • Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a related field is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, copiers, and fax machines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
