- A person with a three-year Bible College degree and/or equivalent related youth education,
- Digitally savvy. Comfortable with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Youtube etc,
- Able to lead volunteer teams,
- Reliable, dependable, and have a strong work ethic,
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect both with kids and their parents,
- Are self-motivated and able to take initiative,
- Has a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle,
- A person who has a working knowledge of Office 365 including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Job DescriptionAs a part of our Next Generation team, the Junior Youth Pastor, in partnership with our other Next Generation Pastors, will give leadership to our Next Generation ministries for people in Grades 6 to 8:
JR Youth Ministry:
o In partnership with the Next Generation team, create life changing environments for youth (Grade 6 to 8) while ensuring that the ministry aligns with the overall vision and mission of Central, o Have a key focus area of leading the JR Youth ministries.
o Connect, equip, and care for youth and their parents so they can be the primary influence in the spiritual growth of their child.
Volunteer Management:
o Recruit, train, develop and pastor our JR Youth leaders and foster Central's culture in those teams,
Community Connections:
o Create events to introduce faith to unchurched kids, o Partner with Community Crew, a local missions organization changing kid's lives throughout Niagara, o Oversee our JR Youth Summer Camp.
Financial:
o Proven ability to maintain budgets, ensuring financial strategies and needs are clearly articulated.
Communication:
o Meet & partner with parents, attendees and guests as needed to understand their needs and concerns, o Create and maintain regular parent communication, o Maintain a digital strategy to engage parents through Central Kids social media platforms, o Work with all ministry department team members to collectively serve the Ministry and Experience departments,
Required Skills
Three year Bible College degree and/or equivalent related youth education.
Experience Required
A minimum of 5 years of youth ministry experience,
