Position description


The Douglas Mental Health University Institute is part of the Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre, whose mission is to offer cutting-edge care and advance and share knowledge in mental health.

The Department of Psychiatry is proud to host a respectful, multi-disciplinary and inclusive work setting in its multiple areas of activity, which includes the training of a diverse group of students.

Job Duties

Qualifications and Education Requirements


Requirements:


  • Must hold an MD and hold or be eligible for licensure as a psychiatrist in the province of Quebec.
  • Must have completed advanced Psychiatry training (fellowship/graduate studies).
  • Advanced capacity to engage in all aspects of a universityaffiliated psychiatry department (clinical, education and/or research).
  • Bilingual language competencies (French and English).

Assets:

  • Clinicianscientists with MD/PhD (or equivalent researchintensive training) are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Interest/experience in administration/medical leadership.
  • Strong clinical/academic background.
