Position description
The Douglas Mental Health University Institute is part of the Montréal West Island Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre, whose mission is to offer cutting-edge care and advance and share knowledge in mental health.
The Department of Psychiatry is proud to host a respectful, multi-disciplinary and inclusive work setting in its multiple areas of activity, which includes the training of a diverse group of students.

Job Duties
McGill faculty members are expected to contribute to service activities within their units, the University, and the wider scholarly community.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Requirements:
- Must hold an MD and hold or be eligible for licensure as a psychiatrist in the province of Quebec.
- Must have completed advanced Psychiatry training (fellowship/graduate studies).
- Advanced capacity to engage in all aspects of a universityaffiliated psychiatry department (clinical, education and/or research).
- Bilingual language competencies (French and English).
Assets:
- Clinicianscientists with MD/PhD (or equivalent researchintensive training) are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Interest/experience in administration/medical leadership.
- Strong clinical/academic background.
