Company Overview:
Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
- Pay all invoices from various vendors promptly.
- Input all invoices into QuickBooks for accurate recordkeeping.
Communication:
- Maintain and nurture positive relationships with vendors.
Financial Reporting:
- Run regular reports detailing expense breakdowns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Provide monthly or quarterly Profit and Loss (P&L) reports to support decisionmaking.
Credit Card Management:
- Ensure timely payment of credit card bills.
- Reconcile credit card statements with receipts.
Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
Finance Meetings:
- Prepare for monthly and quarterly finance meetings by providing detailed expense breakdowns and commission totals.
- Collaborate with team members to discuss financial performance and address any concerns.
Receipt Management:
- File and organize receipts for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Maintain and improve relationships with all vendors.
- Negotiate favourable terms with vendors when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. Real Estate bookkeeping is a bonus.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
