Description

Position Summary

We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Cleaner to fill a Casual position at the GR Baker Memorial Hospital.

In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of housekeeping duties throughout the facility.

Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Housekeeping Policies and Processes.

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a full care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds and 5 crisis stabilization beds.

Laboratory
Diagnostic Imaging
Pharmacy
General Surgery
Internal Medicine
Otolaryngology (ENT)
Community Cancer Care
Physiotherapy
Respiratory Therapy
Environmental Health
Speech and Language Therapy
Visiting specialists in Cardiology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Urology and Ophthalmology
Video conferencing for consultations with specialists or physicians in other areas.

Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
