Job Description Mission**We are looking for a Civil Design Project Manager to join our civil/municipal group in Ontario to work on projects based mainly in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Civil Design Project Manager, you will lead the design of municipal infrastructure projects, as well as develop and empower a multidisciplinary group of professionals.

  • You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Bowmanville, Toronto-Mississauga, Burlington and Kitchener office._

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be an emergent leader supporting the business growth of the municipal infrastructure sector in Ontario
  • Lead and manage projects and project teams through all phases of the project from planning, design, and construction of civil/municipal infrastructure projects
  • Manage project resources, schedule, budget, quality management and project risk assessment on behalf of CIMA+ to meet client expectations individually and independently
  • Prepare and supervise engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents, cost estimates and construction specifications
  • Lead and assist in the pursuit of new projects involving request for proposals with clients, including technical writing and proposal development and production
  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients to grow the local practice
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders, and contractors
  • Lead and mentor intermediate and junior staff on fundamentals of detailed design and general project management skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario (PEO)
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with regional & municipal clients on municipal infrastructure projects
  • Valid ''G'' class driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • PMP certification (an asset)
