When you join CIMA+, we welcome you to a place that you can call home.Job Description Mission**We are looking for a Civil Design Project Manager to join our civil/municipal group in Ontario to work on projects based mainly in the Greater Toronto Area. As a Civil Design Project Manager, you will lead the design of municipal infrastructure projects, as well as develop and empower a multidisciplinary group of professionals.
- You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Bowmanville, Toronto-Mississauga, Burlington and Kitchener office._
Primary Responsibilities
- Be an emergent leader supporting the business growth of the municipal infrastructure sector in Ontario
- Lead and manage projects and project teams through all phases of the project from planning, design, and construction of civil/municipal infrastructure projects
- Manage project resources, schedule, budget, quality management and project risk assessment on behalf of CIMA+ to meet client expectations individually and independently
- Prepare and supervise engineering studies, environmental assessments, reports, calculations, plans and contract documents, cost estimates and construction specifications
- Lead and assist in the pursuit of new projects involving request for proposals with clients, including technical writing and proposal development and production
- Build relationships with existing and potential clients to grow the local practice
- Liaise with clients, consultants, regulatory and utility agencies, project stakeholders, and contractors
- Lead and mentor intermediate and junior staff on fundamentals of detailed design and general project management skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) licensed to practice in the Province of Ontario (PEO)
- Minimum 8 years of experience working with regional & municipal clients on municipal infrastructure projects
- Valid ''G'' class driver's license and access to a vehicle
- PMP certification (an asset)
