Support Center - IrvingThe Allocations Analyst will ensure that product flow and allocations of product to stores adheres to the goals of the company and department.

This Team Member will serve as a cross-functional partner of the assigned Michaels Buyer Team(s) and will partner in needed communication flow from merchandise tracking, distribution centers and stores.

This individual is a key player in developing the strategies needed to achieve the correct placement of goods into the stores and determining the most efficient allocation strategies and is expected to actively communicate with Senior Management as well as merchants.

Analysis
Through historical sales analysis, develop criteria to use for allocation strategy
Review sales tracking weekly with buyer and team

After Category Management Planner develops initial wave plan, partner with them to ensure that flow of goods will optimize sales and space productivity by adjusting as needed.

Prior to allocating new season, review prior year sales, inventory and demand through to optimize new season allocation
Incorporate merchandise strategy into the formation of allocation methods. (Communicate with store operations, DMs, and ZVPs to find sales and allocation improvement opportunities
Provide warehouse distribution for initial purchase orders
Sales History, Case Pack, Inner Pack, Stores, etc.
Allocate purchase orders for assigned departments, including seasonal assets, trends items, and new direct to store items.
Plan, manage, and execute all allocations to the store level
Canada, FMA, Ship from Stores, BOPIS
This will include unscheduled pushes, short ship, and overages.
Partner with new store department on timing of openings of new and relocation stores to incorporate into future DC breaks (DC inventory) and allocations so that product will be available at new store opening
Participate in POG review with Merchant Teams to understand future in store seasonal sets
Captain special projects as assigned by supervisor
BS in Retail, Business, or related Field
