Summary of duties:


Reporting to the Ottawa Branch Manager, the Sales Assistant is responsible for forwarding various customer requests to the right people.

He/She will work closely with several company departments to provide administrative support.


Responsibilities:


  • Handling of customer requests (price inquiries, material information, project information, tooling and equipment questions, etc.);
  • Order submission;
  • Project followup in the company's inhouse software;
  • All other related tasks.

Required training:


  • Study in a relevant field;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.

Skills required:


  • Advanced knowledge of the Office suite;
  • Bilingual (French and English) a strong asset;
  • Experience in sales (an asset);
  • Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously;
  • Organizational and planning skills;
  • Selfmotivated;
  • Strong customer focus;
  • Team player.
