Are you an ambitious and motivated individual who thrives on contributing to growing the business? Reporting to the Senior Manager, Gifting, you will be responsible for leading and delivering sales through our corporate gifting program to various corporate organizations, businesses, and clients.

They will aid in the development and implementation of the corporate gifting program, the sales goals, quotas and business objectives.

The Manager, Corporate Gifting Sales will leverage their wealth of product knowledge, sales tactics, and experiences to lead and persuade the corporate customer to purchase their gifting products at the
LCBO.

They will continue to improve their product knowledge on key items, programs and services and will recommend alternatives to the corporate gifting program, as needed.

About the Role

  • Plan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers and other clients.
  • Interact regularly with customers to understand their needs, determine the best gifting solution and recommend the right products and services.
  • Develop sales strategies and presentations to help educate and sell to potential customers
  • Monitor sales progress, databasing sales and results.
  • Create and manage a client information database; tracking sales, preferred items, programs, prospects, call list and times, customer sales information.
  • Recommend changes in products by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Manage prospecting new clients and identify new lead opportunities.
  • Maintaining relationships with current clients and identifying new business opportunities with them
  • Research potential clients to uncover competitive advantages for selling
  • Support with the resolution of customer complaints by investigating problems and developing appropriate solutions
  • Meeting project objectives, deadlines and providing the necessary reporting information.
  • Future opportunities with the role; build, develop and coach a sales team, planning and organizing daily work schedules. Supervise support of sales staff daily, overseeing daytoday activities, ensuring completion and accuracy of work. Provide support to sales team for key sales pitches or meetings.
About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related field, Sales certifications, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 or more years of relevant sales and work experience.
  • Experience with sales, outreach, lead generation, along with a track record of delivering exceptional outcomes in a fastpaced, dynamic environment, from planning to closing the sales process.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team, coaching, building relationships with Vendors, Clients, Customers.
  • Product knowledge certifications in the beverage alcohol industry.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and customerservice skills, especially in highstress situations.
  • Sharp negotiation, timemanagement and excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to produce plans and solutions related to product sales and sell through.
  • Strong team player or able to work alone with mínimal supervision.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about beverage alcohol industry.
  • Motivated for sales, energic and be resilient in the face of rejection.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent time management skills, able to independently prioritize, work and travel.
  • Flexible hours required to meet the needs of a given project or event.
  • A valid drivers' license with access to an automobile.
