Accountabilities

  • Provides all website development needs for Keyspire
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion on the website
  • Design the appearance, layout, and flow of the Website(s).
  • Build the website based on a containerbased design which allows a event date to be changed and that flows through other landing pages
  • Coordinates the publishing of new and existing content such as, events, news, and announcements
  • Supports departments and units in the creation, development, and management of websites and web content.
  • Develop and run event/campaignspecific websites
  • Finds innovative and exciting new ways to present web content
  • Leverage user experience design principles to provide advice, counsel, and support on the information architecture, visual design, and usability of website
  • Advises and acts as a resource on matters relating to web development
  • Website Monitoring & Maintenance
  • Provides web support such as: training, guidance, troubleshooting, and escalating problems
  • Ensures Keyspire and affiliated websites are properly functioning, user friendly, follow best practices for UX/UI, and are mobile compatible
  • Use Google Analytics and insights to make improvements to overall user experience and search engine optimization
  • Reviews Keyspire and affiliated websites to ensure accessibility compliance and coordinate with web users to rectify content that is not compliant
  • Monitors and reports on metrics for web, digital initiatives, identify, and track related measures
  • Creates and maintain best practice documents to help guide and support website content creators, administrators in company

Requirements:


  • 2+ years of experience in web development, maintaining websites, digital product coordination, and content management
  • Knowledge and experience of integrating user experience into final web products.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics (ex: Google Analytics), and the ability to analyze trends
  • Knowledge of web tools and strategies to optimize
  • Experience with web hosting environments
  • Knowledge of AODA and WCAG 2.0 Compliance
  • Postsecondary education in Website Development/Management
