Data Scientist

Conduct and design advanced interactive data analysis including the development of highly complex analysis algorithms. Applies and designs advanced statistical and predictive modelling techniques to facilitate exploratory and confirmatory analyses for decision making.

What you will do:

Conduct and design of advanced interactive data analysis, and

define highly complex analysis algorithms as needed from the

customer/stakeholder.

Implement standards for programming templates for (exploratory and

interactive) analyses for decision making to studies and projects.

techniques to facilitate exploratory and confirmatory analyses for

decision making.

Identify relevant tools and sources of information needed for data

analysis.

Provide expertise and educate the organization on new approaches for data analysis.
Ensure organization understands and adopts the principles

behind these approaches and how they provide value to decision making.

Leads the design and deployment of enhancements and corrections to data analysis tools, systems and methods as needed.
Explore, evaluate, design and implement new and emerging analytical processes and tools to improve working processes and research.


Who you are:

BS/MS/PhD University Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics or equivalent (of theoretical/technical depth)
5+ years relevant data analysis experience (ideally some Pharma exposure)
Fluency in English is required
Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communications skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively as required
Demonstrated ability to prepare training materials such as use-cases, user-manuals, and formal presentations
Proven problem solving capabilities to address complex issues independently and as a self-starter
Mentor junior team members on data science techniques and upskilling opportunities
High technical competency required
Previous experience generating interactive data displays using statistical and/or visualization software tools (ie: SAS, R, Python, Tableau) is required
Knowledge of statistical methodology used to analyze and interpret aggregate data, eg., the use of confidence intervals, and p-values
Good leadership, mentoring and influencing capabilities
