We are an established construction company in the Lower Mainland looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable and Collections Officer. If you are a great multi-tasker with strong attention to detail, enjoy speaking to customers on the phone, and like doing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment, then we invite you to apply


What You'll Be Doing

  • Handling incoming calls and assisting customers with their enquiries
  • Processing credit card payments and receipts and making bank deposits
  • Invoicing
  • Managing billing cycles for outstanding accounts, keeping complete records of all accounts in the system, and preparing statements of outstanding accounts to customers

What You Bring:


  • At least 2 years' office experience
  • Great phone presence warm, friendly, and strong Englishspeaking skills
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office software
  • Excel, Outlook, Word
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Data entry proficiency, combined with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and handle deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Resourceful, great followthrough skills, and an exceptionally helpful attitude

Schedule
Full-time, 9-5, Monday - Friday


Experience:

Accounts Receivable: 2 years (preferred)

  • Accounting software: 1 year (required)
  • AR Collections experience an asset
Hourly rate is dependent on experience.


Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
  • Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
