Belleville, ON:

**Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-3:30 PM and Monday

  • Thursday 3:30 PM 1:30 AM, must be available.**:

Pay:
$24.40/hour

Our Storeroom Attendant is not your typical warehouse worker.

This hands-on multi-tasker has many responsibilities throughout the storeroom to ensure a quality product is available to our end users when needed.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick and issue parts to the customer so they can keep their business running efficiently
  • Carefully receive and review parts to make sure the customer gets exactly what was ordered
  • Stock parts after receipt into inventory by placing material into correct storage location and keep detailed count of inventory
  • Accurately receivein parts into SAP and notify supervisor
  • Work and communicate with the customer while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Stock parts after receipt into inventory by placing material into correct storage location
  • Deliver parts as needed
  • Perform quarterly cycle counts within the department

Receiving - receive in all incoming freight into SAP, deliver goods to appropriate areas, run and operate forklift truck, pack and process subcontracts, load/unload transport trucks; maintain safe work environment (3-month minimum training)


6B Saw - run and operate 6B saw, interact with supervisor to organize work distribution, enter usage of materials into SAP and obtain delivery notes to process orders, build boxes; maintain safe work environment (8-month minimum training)


Packing Area - receive all incoming parts from inspection into stock thru SAP, package parts according to job cards/delivery note, utilize customer web portals, build boxes, operate shrink wrap machine, maintain safe work environment (6-month minimum training)


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Physically fit and able to lift 3350 lbs. independently
  • Gr. 12 Education or extensive manufacturing experience
  • Must enroll in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have computer experience and good working knowledge of SAP (daily material transactions)
  • Must work and cross train in all three areas of Storeroom
  • Receiving, 6B Saw, Packing Area
  • Must either possess or be willing to obtain a PIV lift truck license
  • Must be available to work every monthend, during the first week of Summer Shutdown and at least one day during Christmas Shutdown
