Description

JP Towing is looking for an experienced, Fleet Maintenance person. This person must be experienced in Fleet and Vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

Annual & Preventative Maintenance Program Implementation and Execution
Perform yard truck inspections & spot inspections
Take Trucks to and from shops for repairs and PM
Truck Sign In & Sign Out
Equipment Inventory Monthly Report
Truck Inventory Weekly Status Report
Truck Permits and Licencing (working with Director of Ops.)
Driver Hiring & Training
New Driver Onboarding
Driver Discipline, Corrective Action, Non-Conformance
Must be able to obtain a Toronto Tow License if required
Minimum 3 years' experience in Fleet Maintenance
Mechanical skills and experience an asset
Excellent communication, organizational, planning and implementation skills
High level of critical and logical thinking.
Meticulous record maintenance skills.
Ability to follow through and complete overlapping projects

Working Conditions

Willing to work indoors and outdoors
Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Monday to Friday work schedule with the understanding that we are a 24 hour emergency service and on call work may be necessary at times.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
