Residence Inn by Marriott/Fairfield by Marriott Winnipeg is this city's only dual - branded hotel.

As this is a unique property, we are looking for unique people to be a part of our Front Desk Team.

A Front Desk Associate at Residence Inn/Fairfield by Marriott Winnipeg is the face of our 260 room property. You must have exceptional time management and communication skills.

Our Front Desk Associates are also polite and professional to everyone they deal with: guests, visitors, vendors and co - workers.

Our hourly rate of pay is above minimum wage to start and will be reviewed after successful completion of 60 shifts.

After completion of 60 shifts, you are then eligible for monetary incentives, including upsell commissions.

Some of your Job Duties are:
Welcomes guests
Answers phone calls and transfer to appropriate department(s).
Assists guests in making reservations.
Processes guest check - in and check - out
Assigns rooms and suites to guests.
Reviews customer billing statements; processes payments
Resolves customer issues and complaints
Provides directions to local attractions in Winnipeg and surrounding area to hotel guests
