About the role:
Ritchie Bros is looking for an outside sales professional to serve as a Territory Sales Manager - in the work location

Sudbury,Ontario. Our territories have large customer bases as well as growth potential for someone with strong skills in forging new relationships. Critical to our business, our Territory Sales Managers are directly responsible for the generation of billions of dollars in gross transactional value every year. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Manager is an individual and regional team contributor for achieving quarterly and annual sales goals.
Here's a few things you'll do:
- Source and grow sales with new, high potential business by building strong, personal, and professional relationships with new and existing customers through pro-active prospecting and cold-calling.-
- Maximize customer returns by effectively positioning their assets through the multi-channel solutions Ritchie Bros. offers-
- Develop assigned territory by building, maintaining, and updating Playbook on a frequent basis.-
- Prepare customized presentations using sales materials and systems for new and existing customers to achieve future business
To be successful in the role, you: - Have the ability leverage a variety of resources to achieve quarterly and annual production and performance targets.

- Bring natural ability to building authentic customer relationships.

- Have a strong work ethic without sacrificing your sense of humor or ability to have fun on the job.
What we need from you:
- 5 to 10 years in a structured outside / field sales role, and a consistent trackrecord of meeting / exceeding quotas.
- To be able to travel several days per month, sometimes overnight, to cover the territory, attend auctions, and various trainings.
- The ability to work from various locations (remote/home, customer sites, on the road)
- A valid, clean driver's license.
- Equipment Industry or Construction Equipment experience is preferred.
- Strong presentation, strategic thinking, negotiation and closing skills.
