We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic professional to join our team in the role of
Project Manager/Business Analyst.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client requirements.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, define key milestones, coordinate resources, and monitor progress against budget.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
  • Proactively communicate project expectations, updates, and changes to all relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Cultivate effective communication with external key stakeholders in order to develop strong relationships and understand complex business requirements.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather business requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Capture and document user stories in Jira, translating client requirements into actionable items for development teams.
  • Ensure user stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and understood by all stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project documentation repository in Confluence, including requirements, client materials, change requests, progress reports, and QA documentation.
  • Conduct detailed reporting and project tracking using Jira.
  • Regularly monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, providing performance reports based on total hours projected vs. billed and other incurred costs.
  • Collaborate closely with the QA Lead to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Facilitate communication between the project team and QA Lead to address quality issues and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Support the QA Lead in the implementation of quality assurance processes and methodologies.

Key Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management within the software development industry.
  • 5+ years of business analysis strong workflow design experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in clientfacing roles; ability to build strong relationships with senior managers in a variety of different industries.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities,
  • Proficiency in the following software/tools: Jira; Confluence; SharePoint; Lucid Chart; and Microsoft Office Suite, with a particular emphasis on capturing and documenting user stories in Jira.
  • Ability to travel across Southern Ontario (mainly the Greater Toronto Area) to attend client sites; must have a valid driver's license and access to own vehicle.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is an asset.
  • Strong business analysis skills with a track record of successful requirement gathering and solution implementation preferred.
  • Certifications such as Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) are highly valued.
