W e're on the lookout for an HSE Systems Lead to spearhead our efforts to develop , streamline, deliver, and digitize HSE s ystems and processes across McElhanney .

Lead and contribute to key strategic HSE initiatives.

Develop and manage the continuous improvement of HSEMS Standards and Safe Work Methods in collaboration with subject matter experts and the HSE Team .

Manage McElhanney's HSE m anagement s oftware application (digital forms, data management, etc.) and drive the continued digitization of HSE at McElhanney using a wide range of tools .

Develop and deliver internal online and in-person HSE training.
Develop and coordinate the completion of monthly, weekly, and event driven HSE communication .
M anage external contractor/vendor management accounts (e

g:
Manage the change management process for McElhanney's HSEMS and related initiatives.
Manage the WCB claims management process.
Perform internal audits and provide recommendations and corrective actions to management.
Strong technical knowledge of OHS hazards, regulations, and best practices related to construction or other high-risk industries
Experience developing HSE management system content u sing a framework such as ISO 45001 or similar .
A general proficiency in digital systems and data interpretation
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational and technical writing skills with experience in public speaking and presenting to small / moderate sized groups
Knowledge and experience with contractor compliance sites ( e.g. Experience working in civil construction , forestry , and /or industrial construction.
