Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager / Scrum Master with expertise to manage a high-impact Digital Experience discovery project, engaging with both vendor/partners and key stakeholders at Thomson Reuters to capture a holistic understanding of our Digital Experience priorities to build plans and governance structure for the future.

As a Project Manager / Scrum Master, you will be responsible for delivering on two key goals:
driving the logistics/progression of the project and transfer knowledge from our current Scrum Master. We employ agile methodologies to track progress of this project.

You will collaborate with external implementation partners, internal project teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.


Responsibilities:


Logistics/progression management:

  • Coordinate meetings, ensuring attendance and active participation of attendees
  • Gather required documentation as needed
  • Ensure timely review of deliverables across internal stakeholders, and managing reversion to vendor
  • Facilitate daily standup meetings, ensuring effective communication, and removing obstacles for the project team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document next steps, dependencies, and obstacles, ensuring project progress and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with the development team to groom and refine user stories or cards, assisting in level of effort estimations and sprint planning.
  • Ensure adherence to agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Understand software development lifecycle fundamentals, including testing phases and migration processes, to ensure smooth implementation and rollout.
  • Coordinate with external vendor partner's project manager to align deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between internal project teams and stakeholders, providing regular project updates and managing expectations.
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements based on project learnings and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and highperforming work environment.

Knowledge Transfer from current Scrum Master:

  • Conduct 1x1 sessions with PM/Scrum Master to understand current project load and document next steps.
  • Take over standing meetings, reset cadences as needed.
  • Conduct stakeholder/project team interviews for ramp and conduct gap analysis.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Scrum Master, specifically in marketing solutions implementation and rollout.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle fundamentals, including testing phases and migration processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external implementation partners.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as SharePoint and Workfront.
  • Azure DevOps or Jira experience needed.
  • Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
  • Understanding of marketing platforms and use cases, enabling effective project planning and implementation.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Experience with CMS, marketing automation, or CRM's.
  • Experience with Gantt charts.
