Guntensperger Farm Services is a custom farming operation in Southwestern Ontario. We offer custom dry manure spreading and forage harvesting services to our customers. We currently have an opportunity for an Equipment Operator to join our team. We are searching for a passionate, hard working individual who takes pride in their work
Job duties include:
- Perform equipment operator duties such as (but not limited to) operating tractor with spreader or dump trailer
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment
- Perform regular inspections to identify problems or safety concerns
- Record and report information of daily completed jobs
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
- Responsible for daily equipment maintenance
- Assist with other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical Knowledge and experience with agricultural equipment
- Basic math knowledge for measurements and rate calculations
- Valid G driver's license
- Clean Drivers abstract to be provided prior to hiring
- Possession of, or willingness to obtain Nutrient Application Technician License.
- Flexible with hours and willing to work longer hours during peak seasons
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
- Must be Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or possess valid work VISA
Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (preferred)
